  1. 5 out of 5

This is the most easily overclocked CPU I’ve ever had. I was able to go to all core 5.1GHZ without any over-voltage. I was able to match my ring speeds to my core speeds at 5.3GHz using an overvoltage of 1.465v. I do not exceed 70C on high average and use a corsair 240mm liquid cooler with 2 fans.

I moved to this from an i7-8700K that I also keep clocked at all-core 5.3GHz. The improvements were significant. I use both for work, but my i9 computer is my primary gaming machine

Its stupid fast for someone who games and streams. People say it runs super hot, but paired with a castle 360 aio cooler. Temps stay around 40c under load. I dont have a need to OC this thing for the time being. I bought this cpu over a ryzn 3800x. As AMD has done a crap job getting more chips on the market. Plus the 3800x is 8 core HT and i9 is 8 core HT. But the i9 is faster. And at the same price. The z390 mobo are much more ironed out and refind than the new x570. I recommend this cpu for someone building a oc around an rtx 2080. The performance per dollar isnt wonderful, but if i could go back a re purchase my parts i wouldnt change a thing.

  3. 5 out of 5

As an A+ Certified Tech, I can safely say at the time of writing this that this chip is the best gamer chip on the market hands down.
