This SSD blew me away with how much better it made my machine preform. Side note, my latest build was a couple weeks ago, an 8700k on an ROG Maximus X, with a 1070ti. Very basic but it does more than what I need. I got an SSD for it and it was my very first machine with an SSD, boots so quickly you NEVER see the windows logo pre-login. As fast as I snap my fingers. So I thought I would put one in my workstation (my “workstation” is an optiplex 9020 that had a bad hard drive) and color me impressed. Sure it’s not AS fast as my 1tb evo, but you can’t beat the price on this and it has made that little computer run like a dream! Plus points for easy installation, but on the other hand, if you can’t install a hard drive what even is the matter with you lmao.
Now if only computers could save us from that feeling of existential crisis where the loneliness hits you and you realize you’re still in love with your ex, then I’d be in business.

I highly suggest this hard drive. I wanted to run linux alongside windows, and not have the linux and windows partitions touch at all.
Programs load instantly, the computer boots in less than 10 seconds.

It’s a SSD drive that works and is inexpensive. Windows 10 boots up real quick with this, and it works perfectly for having just enough to boot an OS and a few programs for a simple purpose computer.
The only things you should beware of is the obvious and the not as obvious. Learn how to install Windows 10 to take advantage of SSD. There are several instructions out there, but the key think is to know your BIOS to change the needed settings. The other thing is that it is a 2.5″ drive. You’ll need a 2.5-3.5″ adapter to put it in a drive bay, but I just have mine hanging because it is literally the only drive in a tiny computer and SSDs don’t have mechanical moving parts like traditional drives. Everyone talks big about Samsung, but if you are on a budget, consider PNY as an alternative.
